Feeling Hungry?

There is a fantastic online food delivery and ordering service in New Zealand that lets you search and review many   restaurant and takeaway menus that are ready for you to order your lunch or dinner online.

You can choose to have your meal home delivered, to your work or why not order your meal online in advance and then go and pick it up on your way home or during your lunch break?

So where do you go to order food online? and check out the menus from your local takeaways? Go to Dinein.co.nz.

“Dine In is a 100% kiwi owned website” that is growing by the day and already has a great loyal following. They are keen for fellow kiwi’s to get involved and provide their feedback and are seen to be implementing updates continuously thanks to the support it is receiving.

Dinein.co.nz was set up with the purpose of making it easy for you to find what online takeaways and restaurants are within your area and to be able to order food online quickly and easily. You are able to check out the many online menus and to plan your meal choices without feeling rushed like  we normally find ourselves when standing in a queue.

I remember having to search for menus & flyers to no avail when I moved into a new area, having an online food ordering website where I can also receive coupons and discount vouchers for first time orders and also set up my online loyalty scheme with my favourite restaurants is fantastic. I no longer have to carry a pile of loyalty cards with me!

There are quite a number of online takeaway options ranging from:

  • Indian
  • Pizza,
  • Malaysian,
  • Fish and Chips,
  • Thai and many more online.

If your favourite restaurant or takeaway is not online, do not fret, simply get in touch with Dine In by emailing feedback@dinein.co.nz to recommend its inclusion.

Dine In is easy to use, so go ahead and order, order, order. Payment is secure as is managed by Payment Express which is highly recognised on many e-commerce websites in New Zealand, including Trademe. You do not need an account to order food online either. The purpose of an account however is to simply make your life easier as you can track your previous orders, save your favourites for easy access, collect loyalty stamps and discounts and even download GST receipts for restaurants that have uploaded their own GST no.

Still Feeling hungry? Fancy a Chicken Tikka Masala with a Butter Nan and perhaps a samosa to start? If you are living in Wellington you might want to check out Masala or Tulsi or  do you live in Auckland? Check out this link that has a list of available online curry takeaways and menus. Perhaps you fancy to order pizza and have it delivered to your home? No problem simply search for pizza and your suburb on the search box or click on this link to go to Dine In.

Experience of Ordering Food Online from East Restaurant, Ponsonby, Auckland

Sometimes, I may not be able to prepare food at home. I also would be too lazy to go to a restaurant. Those are the times when I would order food online.

I have ordered food before from various restaurants in Auckland. Some restaurants allow only ordering by phone and some others have online ordering facility. I personally like to order food online since I get more time to read through the menu and decide. In the past, I have had tough experiences communicating my order to the person who takes the order on the phone. On a couple of occasions, wrong food got delivered to me due to communication problems. Hence I prefer online ordering.

East restaurant in Ponsonby, Auckland is a restaurant that supports online ordering of food. I had never tried food from that restaurant and I was curious to find out how it tasted. I was warned by one of my friends that the food in that restaurant was not good. There were a few others who said it was definitely not bad and one of my close friends said he really enjoyed eating there. Read more →

Nite Spice Indian Restaurant Manukau New Zealand

Food is generally considered as one of the necessities of life. But, as far as I am concerned, it is more than just necessity. I consider it as one of the many pleasures of life. It appeals more to my senses than just hunger.

To keep up with my passion for food, I often try different kinds of food in different restaurants. Some people usually have favourite restaurants and they like to restrict themselves to those few restaurants whenever they go out for lunch or dinner. They don’t try different options.

But I am completely opposite to that. In fact, I often search online for new restaurants that have come up in my city, not necessarily because I am bored of the usual restaurants. But, I like to explore what new restaurants have to offer.

Keeping up with that spirit, I decided to try the ‘Nite Spice Indian restaurant’ in Manukau, Auckland for dinner one night. When I first read the name of the restaurant, the word ‘spice’ caught my attention since I am a fan of spicy food. Apart from that, it is an Indian restaurant and Indian foods are usually spicy. All these got my hopes high. Read more →

Ordering your meal at Nawani’s Mr India or Indian Delights

March 22, 2012 by alan in Fine Dining, Order Meals Online with 0 Comments

I first came across J.P.Nawani or as he told me”call me Nawani”, in Lower Hutt within his restaurant Mr India Tandoori Restaurant & Takeaway. I was struck by his charismatic nature and his ability to keenly explain how his meals were prepared and cooked to perfection. I was impressed before I had even had a chance to savour my starter, which was obviously a sign of confidence that I was certainly in for a treat. I was. I tried the Prawns Koliwada which is battered in chickpea flour mixed with garlic, ginger and spices and then finally lightly fried. Read more →
